komachat is a cool thing made by one person — not a startup, no funding, no roadmap calls. it does what a messenger should do and gets out of the way. it just happens to look like a manga while it does it.
no ads to make it pay for itself, no analytics SDKs to "improve the product," no AI to "enhance your conversations." the principle is simple: text your friends, beautifully, and nobody else needs to be in the room.
